Sakhob Khumkoa graduated in 1995 from the department of Metallurgical Engineering, Chulalongkorn University. In 2009, he received Dr.-Ing, degree from Department of Ferrous Metallurgy, Faculty of Georesources and Materials Engineering, RWTH-Aachen, Germany. In 1996, he joined the Nakornthai Strip Mill Public Company Limited in the job position of Process Engineer at Steelmaking-Continuous Casting Unit, Since May 2000, he has been a Lecturer at the School of Metallurgical Engineering, Suranaree University of Technology, Thailand. In 2017, he was promoted to Assistant Professor in 2017. Since 2015, he has been a technical consultant of the Department of Primary Industries and Mines (DPIM), Ministry of Industry (MIND) of Thailand. He is currently engaged in research on metals recycling from industrial and household waste.
