2023 7th International Conference on Material Engineering and Manufacturing (ICMEM 2023) was held in Chiba University, Chiba, Japan during April 7-10, 2023.
This year, ICMEM was held as hybrid event for the first time. Delegates from around 24 countries had attended the
4-day event. They are mainly from Japan, China, Singapore, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Philippines, Indonesia,
USA, UK, Germany, Spain, Romania, Croatia, Poland, Peru, South Africa etc. The conference program consist of 2
keynote speeches, 3 invited speeches, 1 poster session and 12 oral sessions.
Prior to the formal conference, a lab visit was organized in the afternoon of April 7. Participants visited the university lab and had a deep communication with the students/faculty there.
On April 8, Prof. Takashige Omatsu (Chiba University, Japan) delivered the opening remarks.
After opening, Prof. Takashige Omatsu and Prof. Akihiko Fujiwara (Kwansei Gakuin University, Japan) co-chaired the keynote & invited speeches, Q&A followed after the speeches.
Delegates and speakers from both onsite and online were actively taking part in the discussion.
Oral sessions and poster session followed on the same day and the following days. One best presentations was selected and announced at the end of each session. Congratulations to every winners! Thank you for your participation. We're looking forward to meeting you next year!
